What is the Sequence Memory Test?
This test measures your working memory capacity — how many items you can hold in short-term memory and recall in order. It's based on the classic "digit span" test used in cognitive psychology. The average person can recall about 7 items.
How to play
Watch the colored pads light up in a sequence. After the sequence ends, repeat the pattern by tapping the pads in the same order. Each successful round adds one more step to the sequence. One mistake ends the game.
How to improve your score
Use chunking — group colors into pairs or mini-patterns. Verbal labeling (mentally saying "green, red, yellow") also helps. Regular practice expands working memory capacity over time.
